forgot my phone at home today, so no good baby shots. we went out to phil and sarah's house for brunch with a group of friends, stayed for awhile, then went to mass. here we are after darren's bedtime relaxing on the couch.

tomorrow is the first day of the rest of my life

...as a working mom.

Tomorrow is my first (half) day back. This time home with Darren has been more rewarding than anything I can remember.

I will miss these simple times.

On a related note, my scoot wouldn't start this afternoon. We put it on the charger, and I hope it'll start this evening...

This is a marked improvement over last night's poor showing of well after 1 a.m. I'm talking about bedtimes, of course.

Also, my scooter jacket fits once again, much to my relief. Soon I will be braving the pre-dawn chill on my '86 honda.

I believe the time stamp of this post accurately illustrates how immensely I'm sucking at getting to bed on time. Very very very dumb. Friday, first day back, is going to hurt.

ps. i really really liked the cherry tylenol the nurse gave me. i drank it all without spitting any out! yum.
